URPP Global Change and Biodiversity

URPP GCB Seminar

URPP GCB Seminars focused on a variety of topics related to global change, biodiversity and ecosystem services. Topics of the seminars were necessarily broad due to the interdisciplinary character of the GCB programme. External speakers of international renown in their research fields are invited to these events. The scope of the seminars is to broaden horizons in research, to foster collaboration between academics of different disciplines and to strengthen links between research and policy. Since 2019 the seminar series has been integrated into the resepective departments of the URPP GCB members to broaden the reach of the URPP GCB:
