Annabelle Constance was awarded a grant from WIOMSA to cover the specialist equipment and travel required for her project on the Aldabra Atoll. Annabelle's project will focus on the mangroves found on Aldabra. She will research their growing conditions to better understand local drivers of mangrove variation on the atoll.

WIOMSA, the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association, is dedicated to promoting the educational, scientific and technological development of all aspects of marine sciences in the Western Indian Ocean region.
