Gabriela Schaepman-Strub appointed as Associate Professor for Earth System Science at the University of Zurich

Congratulations to Gabriela Schaepman-Strub appointed to associate professor for Earth System Science at the University of Zurich from 1 April 2019. Gabriela received her PhD at the University of Zurich in the Department of Geography. During her PhD she completed research stays at the Department of Geography of Boston University and the Department of Environmental Sciences of Wageningen University (WUR), NL. After her PhD, Gabriela continued her research at WUR as her postdoc. She returned to UZH in 2009 as a Group leader in the post of Senior Teaching and Research Associate in the Department of Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies. In 2014 Gabriela spent six months as a «Visiting Scientist» for Climate Sciences in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of NASA/California Institute of Technology (Caltec).
