Congratulations to Stanislav Ksenofontov, a PhD student in the URPP Global Change and Biodiversity, who has been selected as an International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) fellow for the social and human working group. This is a fellowship for early career researchers to help in facilitating working group's activities, including scientific, outreach, reporting and so forth. IASC is a "non-governmental, international scientific organization for encouraging and facilitating cooperation in all aspects of Arctic research, in all countries engaged in Arctic research and in all areas of the Arctic region. IASC promotes and supports leading-edge multi-disciplinary research in order to foster a greater scientific understanding of the Arctic region and its role in the Earth system.
