Registration

REGISTRATION will open on 1 March and will close on the 30 June 2016. Due to space constraints at Monte Verita, the symposium will be limited to 100 participants. Registration application is by mail with abstract and motivation only (diversity(a)geo.uzh.ch). A select number of abstracts will be chosen and those authors will be notified with the registration process. We recommend that you apply early to guarantee your place.

Registration Fee

Only paid registration will be considered for definitive participation. Payment must be made by credit card only through the online system, we can only accept credit card payments.
Registration Fees include -
registration fee, abstract booklet.

Conference and Full Board fees
CHF 700
Accommodation in the Hotel Monte Verità or in surrounding hotels, transfers between Locarno train station and Monte Verità on arrival and departure dates are included.
We will organize your accommodation booking for the period of the conference. Extra pre- or post- conference nights are the responsibility of the participant and are not included in the above fees. Please contact the hotel directly if you wish to book pre-/post- conference nights.
Due to the limited number of single rooms at the conference venue hotel, room sharing with another conference participant is highly likely. Please indicate the person with whom you would prefer to share in the registration form. The number of rooms at the conference site is limited, therefore your room may be located in one of the nearby hotels (free transport provided to and from the conference site).

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be communicated by email to the organizers. The date of the email counts as cancellation date. Refunds are possible as follows:
Registration Fees - NOT refundable
Conference and Full Board Fees -
up to 3 months prior to the beginning of the conference: 70% refundable
from 3 months prior to the beginning of the conference: NOT refundable
no show without cancellation notice: no refund.

Refunds will be sent after the conference via electronic bank transfer (you will be contacted to provide your bank details). The congress organizers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during, or as a result of, the congress.

Registration or accommodation fees do not include insurance.

By registering and paying your fees, you accept all the above terms and conditions.

ETH Zurich collects the conference participation charges as collection agent for the host University of Zurich and does not provide own services.
